LitRPG, short for literary role-playing game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of computer RPGs with science-fiction and fantasy novels. The term was introduced in 2013. In LitRPG, game-like elements form an essential part of the story, and visible RPG statistics (for example strength, intelligence, damage) are a significant part of the reading experience. This distinguishes the genre from novels that tie in with a game, like those set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons; books that are actual games, such as the choose-your-own-adventure Fighting Fantasy type of publication; or games that are literarily described, like MUDs and interactive fiction. Typically, the main character in a LitRPG novel is consciously interacting with the game or game-like world and attempting to progress within it.

Regole di Voto
- Puoi votare l'alto o verso il basso. Si prega di considerare sempre il contesto al momento del voto, ad esempio, una canzone dovrebbe essere votato in alto o in basso rispetto agli altri brani contenuti nell'album, la performance di un attore in confronto con gli altri attori dello stesso film, un libro rispetto ad altri libri dello stesso autore o all'interno dello stesso genere.

- Ogni utente dispone di un voto per ogni elemento all'interno di una lista specifica ogni 24 ore. Dopo 24 ore è possibile votare di nuovo sullo stesso elemento all'interno della stessa lista.
- Puoi votare le voci che ti piace in un elenco o in una stessa voce se è parte di un altro elenco. Ad esempio, è possibile votare David Bowie alto o in basso sulla lista di artisti di musica pop, nonché l'elenco degli artisti indie rock e sulla lista di musica rock artisti ecc
